Designer and high tech origamist, ARTURASS love of hand craft links origami esthetics and skills to creations of straightforward usage made with unusual materials: lamps, decorative objects, original furniture, jewels and homestaging.
This young Lituanian designer based in France since 2007 just opened his Showroom Workshop in Rouen in october 2016. He plays with matters, textures and light to reinvent Origami, the ancient japanese art of folding papers. His work links esthetics and folded object skills to create a straightforward usage. His creations, sculptures, jewels or lamps , trigger new visions on the multiple facets of the object. Most of his work is bespoke unique or semi custom pieces, all individually-numbered.
