Creative Mediterranean is a regional project, funded by the European Union and Italy. It supports clusters from the Southern Mediterranean to create new collections of design products inspired by cultural heritages and combining modern design with ancestral know-how, traditional patterns and local materials. The 7 participating clusters are: Leather and Interior Design (Egypt), Tableware (Tunisia), Furniture (Palestine), Interiors (Morocco), Furniture (Lebanon) and Copper-ware (Algeria).
