Through a new, global initiative at UNHCR, the unique skills and heritage of refugee artisans are influenced by fresh design, resulting in original home décor and fashion accessories. UNHCR will show products made by refugees living in six countries.
The UN Refugee Agency works in 126 countries to support 16.1 million refugees. Within this vast population is one of the most diverse and talented pools of artisans that could exist. Through a new, global initiative, the unique skills and heritage of refugee artisans are influenced by fresh design, resulting in original, authentic home décor and fashion accessories. UNHCR will be showing products made by refugees living in six countries.
