Jakub Berdych’s designs challenge conventional ideas about materials and even objects themselves as they blur the boundaries between usability, functionality, appropriateness and expressiveness.
QUBUS DESIGN are produced in workshops based in the regions, where they support local traditions, manufacturing techniques and materials. All QUBUS products are handmade, either by the designers themselves or by craftsmen with whom they have successfully collaborated for many years.
QUBUS DESIGN STUDIO also works on commissions for interiors, architecture, installations and graphic design. It showcases contemporary conceptual design and organises exhibitions, as well as operating two brick-and-mortar shops.
