Un Castello in Toscana.*

These prints are inspired by my visit to the castle of Sammezzano, perched on the hills around Florence. It is a crazy building built in 1605 and restored in the second half of the 19th century by the Marquis Ferdinando Panciatichi Ximenes of Aragon, making each room a unique place, decorated in the Orientalist style very popular at the time. Sentences are proverbs in Italian or in French. *A Castle in Tuscany.
