Manipulating steel, folding, cutting welding, then polishing it until it shines or transforming the surfaces through rust or black hematite patinas, my sculptures reflect and respond to that nature.

My work is inspired by the nature that surrounds me: rocks, branches, layers, vegetation, landscapes. I like to inhibit the empty space of a monumental sheet of paper, filling it  with the visual sensations that this nature provokes. The abstract interlacing forms, at once harmonious and complex, rugged and fragile and weathered by the changing seasons provide me with endless possibilities and unlimited freedom.
