R L FOOTE DESIGN STUDIO is a Melbourne, Australia based design studio focused on reimagining how food is served with intriguing, beautiful and fun designs, delivering unique contemporary ceramic flatware and design objects.
R L FOOTE DESIGN STUDIO was founded by installation artist, designer, chef and food designer Ryan L FOOTE whose diverse background provides a unique source of inspiration and creativity. The studio has a particular interest in the designed food and beverage experience, thinking not only about the physical dining elements but also the ephemeral experience that runs alongside these objects imagining how food and drink is served, eaten, played with. We conceptualise new food forms, textures, tastes, dining experiences and especially the objects we eat off.

R L Foote Design Studio wows the design community with a new range showing off their most complex glaze yet - Crystalline Range. Part alchemy, part art, this range of vases and platters features a complex crystalline glaze, that grows crystals in the kiln, revealing vibrant colours and fractal crystal shapes within the glaze.
