With the development of economy, more & more artisans are giving up their centuries-old craft to become labourer in the big cities. Talented hands are abandoning what they know & love.
SANDHI is an initiative of two friends, Charles & Kamal, from France & India respectively, to preserve these traditional crafts, to give artisans the respect they deserve, and the means to support their families.
Finding inspiration from the Sanskrit word "SANDHI", which means union or alliance, we strive to create beautiful craft products through an alliance between traditional art and modern design.
