MARIE-ANNE THIEFFRY creates sculptures and lamps from lace-cut cardboard that are characterized by weightlessness, poetry and light. Cardboard is the principal creative medium and provides the framework for her emotional expression.

MARIE-ANNE THIEFFRY sculpts cardboard as if it's an almost organic material, and which synonymous with sensuality and softness. The technique she has created allows her to work with both light and subtlety. This relationship gives rise to a series of entirely handcrafted, original works through which the subject is revealed.
