I like to tell stories with what nature offers us most delicate... flowers, sun and water... The cyanotype takes root in the dark blue: CYAN/ dark blue print. Made famous by the first female photographer and botanist, Anna Atkins (1799 - 1871). Each cyanotype is unique and each watercolor paper is individually sensitized, dried, exposed to the sun, washed and fixed. There may be slight variations of blue depending on the sun of the day. Cyanotypes are dated from the sun of the day and signed. Sold in their glass frame to be placed. More Candles
