The hat is handknitted in Nepal, by very skilled Nepalese women. The women who are knitting egos products, can bring home their work, which is a really good solution for them, so they at the same time are able to take good care of their family. egos is fair trade certified, which means among other things, that the workers are being paid a fair salary. egos is fair trade certified by The World Fair Trade Organization.
