The beginnings of the depiction of horses in art history pre-date not just art, but the written language as well. Since prehistoric times, these magnificent creatures have captured our attention as a symbol of wild will and freedom. An exploration in the understanding of sequence, rhythm, and layers, 'equus' was developed by simplifying the equestrian form, through the simple process of contouring.
