Product description
Our rugs and carpets are entirely handwoven in workshops located in North China, by means of a weaving technique named basse lisse (or basse lice) as the loom used is horizontal – unlike traditional Aubusson rugs made on a horizontal loom (haute lisse). Inspired by Aubusson works, our rug cartoons are mainly drawn by Jinan University MFA graduates (Shandong Province, China). Imbued with the elegance of Aubusson patterns, motifs, and their colour harmony, our pieces aim to recreate the original spirit of old-time craftsmanship.Price indicated in m²
