CSM uses Fine Bone China or Fine Porcelain which is high fired, thereby fully vitrifying the material even without glaze. Bone china is considered as the finest type of porcelain, composed of bone ash, feldspar and kaolin. The component responsible for bone china’s famous whiteness, translucency and strength is the calcined bone ash, which makes up to 50% of bone china’s properties. CSM's designs are drawn from the simple sleek lines of origami, to simulating the graceful contour of an orchid flower or the intricate detail of a perched swallow.
