Large black lava vase

Vase designed and made by Valvanuz Ruiz. It belongs to the Mare Nostrum collection, whose characteristics are more defined lines, the line is not continuous, the curves intersect and ornaments and handles appear. It is an evocation of the ancient bell-shaped culture of the Mediterranean peoples, towards a contemporary design with a lava finish. Made of refractory chamotte stoneware and covered with black lava varnish. A first cooking was carried out at 1020 degrees, then a glaze texture lava was applied and annealed at 1260 degrees.
