Dobra outdoor lounge chair

The DOBRA chair is part of the Dobra furniture line which is designed with the concept of a continue steel bar folded to create legs and frames for the different components. "Dobra" is a Portuguese word for "fold". The reason is the folded steel flat bar that is present in this entire line. Folded bars were a lot explored in the Industrial modernist furniture design, but in most of the cases in the shape of a tube, a pipe. The Dobra line explores the versatility of a flat steel bar and the beauty of treating it as a visually soft material by the folded details.
