Serra da estrela cushion 50 x 50 cm 100% organic wool

This Cushion is part of our Serra da Estrela design theme. All theme products are made out of 100% organic wool, sheep and yarn coming from Serra da Estrela in Portugal. The Sheep are kept to maintain the National Park and to avoid nature fires. The wool which the Bordeleira sheep give is brought together in the factory. The Bordeleira sheep are belonging to the area and their hair is fairly short. In order to make a good quality of wool the fibers are turned into fleece first. From the Fleece We Spin the Wool.. The cushion is 50x50cm, fringes are handmade, and closes with a zipper on the back
