Absinthe spoon, the absinthe leaf

The absinthe spoon “La Feuille d'Absinthe” is by far our most desired spoon. It is also one of the most sought-after spoons by antique absinthe collectors. The spoon rack features the great wormwood, Artemisia absinthium (the key ingredient in absinthe). The wormwood plant is surrounded by a banner that, on the original spoons, sometimes contained advertising text. The bottom of the spoon contains a small ridged area that was originally used to separate a piece of sugar from a sugar loaf (or lump)
