The stitching used are unique and the heritage of a tradition of embroidery born with the invasion of the Maures in Portugal, with stitches anterior to the XVIth century !! But also the heritage of a tradition brought back from China by Venitian explorer MARCO POLO, which the Italians 300 years later will transmit to Portugal : it will give birth to all these top stitches named GODRONS, term borrowed to the high jewellery. Just like a Boticelli or a Caravaggio, their rarity makes them (almost) priceless :)
