This vintage school plate shows butterflies of different sizes. It comes from the series of the Le Petit Larousse Butterflies. The original work is by Adolphe Millot. He illustrated many of the natural history sections of Petit Larousse, a French encyclopaedia. We also sell matching frames in various colours. Different size or paper?
