The MARI bag is made from Aklan abaca fibers, extracted and woven by hand by artisans on Panay Island in the Philippines. The beaded rope details look like bleached corals and are all hand-sewn in our small solar studio in Iloilo. It is fully lined. Exquisite faux corals add a touch of elegance and give a new dimension to the raw fibers of humble abaca.
