Textured cotton cushion cover

Eco-friendly home decor begins with sourcing good materials and collaborating with skilled artisans. These cushion covers are woven with handspun Lao cotton dyed with azo-free EU-approved dyes. The patterns are inspired by motifs usually seen on Lao sinhs, or skirts. The pattern is typically very small, although here we’ve increased the ratio to create a dynamic look. The textile is handwoven using the continuous supplementary weft technique by Tai Lue artisans participating in our Village Weavers Project. Skilled weavers and cotton farmers, they are exceptional natural dye masters.
