Floa collection chair

“As in zero gravity, the form seeks to emancipate itself from its function in order to gain lightness.” From the English “floated”, FLOA refers to the lightness of a levitating element. Here, the top tray seems to float above the cabinet, creating the function of the niche. The treatment by color contrast reinforces the impression of suspension that arises, thus bringing great lightness, and allowing the furniture to be in the middle of the room, without visually cluttering it. To play between finesse and solidity, the collection is entirely sculpted by hand.
