Magnificent reissue of a 19th century rosette, found on a beautiful afternoon at the Saint Ouen flea market! This rosette most certainly adorned the ceiling of a Haussmannian house in Paris, but we diverted it from its primary function to make it a decorative object of chance. As if levitating on its museum-like base, this rosette with its authentic patina is richly decorated with acanthus, fruit or flower patterns.
