Product description

Magnificent reissue of a 19th century rosette, found on a beautiful afternoon at the Saint Ouen flea market! This rosette most certainly adorned the ceiling of a Haussmannian house in Paris, but we diverted it from its primary function to make it a decorative object of chance. As if levitating on its museum-like base, this rosette with its authentic patina is richly decorated with acanthus, fruit or flower patterns. It evokes the talent, the richness of the ornaments of the time and the passage of time... it will certainly find its place in a current setting for an effect.
