The Sahel Collection is handcrafted by Malian refugees living in Burkina Faso, Niger and Mauritania. Each item in the collection is distinctly Tuareg. Bracelets and charms are inscribed in Tamashek, the Tuareg language. Original patterns decorate carefully shaped pendants.Tassels, inspired by adornments on camel saddles, are crafted from artisanal leather.Every piece is a showcase of skill, creativity and heritage, and a testament to the artisans’ ability to create beauty despite living in displacement.
