Product description
At the time of the Qing dynasty, at the foot of the Anxi Mountains (Fujian province), there lived a very poor peasant. On the way to the fields, he always stopped to pray in a dilapidated temple, dedicated to Guan Yin (the goddess of compassion and mercy, who was invoked in the most miserable situations). One day he promised the statue that if its situation improved, he would renovate its temple. Shortly after, the goddess appeared to him and showed him a small shrub in a cave. It was a tea plant. Replanted, it began to produce a tea of great subtlety.
