This artwork expresses the concept of "fullness" through traditional Korean aesthetics. In Korea, it is believed that people, objects, and spaces possess a vital energy known as "Ki." Ki is not easily formed. In fact, only when small, intangible forces accumulate does a power, hard to define, arise. In order to capture Ki, we have visualized "density." Delicate lines fill the base, forming a secure structure for the chair. In contrast, the floating surface provides a refuge within the fullness of daily life by creating a gap for the breeze to pass through while exerting Ki on its surroundings. More Chairs
