An example of 'product marketing' is the ballpoint pen, whose components are not recycled and are discarded as regular waste. Curiously, these components resemble the traditional Korean “Four Friends of the Office” (Munbangsawoo): paper, brush, ink, and inkstone. With the exception of paper, the other elements have evolved into the modern pen. Based on this connection, elements of the Korean alphabet (Hangeul), which children learn first, have been integrated to create three “learning tools” suitable for children and adults alike.
