Original design by Francisco de Goya for the Real Fábrica de Tapices de Santa Bárbara. It is part of a set of tapestries commissioned to decorate the room of the Infantas, the daughters of the future Charles IV (1748–1819) and Maria Luisa of Parma (1751–1818), in the Palacio de El Pardo in Madrid. It is the only one of the set that was executed due to the death of Charles III a year later. More Classic carpets
