Among the countless material cultural expressions of the Karajá ethnic group, the Ritxoko dolls, in addition to being an exquisite artistic work originating from the light hands of the ceramists, constitute a significant reference for the group. Made of ceramic, painted with a wide variety of graphics and representing both human forms and those of regional fauna, they are artifacts that distinguish the Karajá people from other Brazilian and South American indigenous groups.
