UV protection sock for 75cl bottles. White bottles let the sun's rays through, and these strike a protein in the wine, altering its taste. This is known as the ‘light taste’ 'Goût de Lumière'. This particular taste resembles cauliflower or garlic butter. Rosé, white and sparkling wines are often affected.
