This lampshade is made from URCYL — a material based on the idea of “don’t discard; repair.”URCYL contains only wood powder and natural urushi, used in Japan for over 10,000 years.Co-developed with the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Institute, it is a new science-based material.We seek partners to license URCYL’s patented technology and trademark (patented in Japan & EU).We also cultivate urushi trees ourselves, enabling a seed-to-product supply system.Product specifications
