The Sumi porcelain service, including soup plate, bowl and cup, was made by artisans in China. Thanks to the remarkable work of double enamelling, the material reveals coloring effects. By rising to the surface, during firing, the natural oxides, contained in the glaze, bring these astonishing reflections of copper like reliefs on the porcelain.
