Produced using the complex manual technique of "art doublé", which combines crystal with colored glass, combined all of Vista Alegre's glassmaking know-how, the Aguaviva pieces suggest unexpected and mysterious sea creatures. The organic shapes, combined with the rigidity of the vertical lines, recreate the fluid movement of jellyfish, while the colors take us back to a natural environment of sea, sky, corals and reefs. The Aguaviva pitchers are impressive creations with great visual impact, a complete testament to the mastery of glass and crystal work acquired over generations.
