Luciano Gaspari’s Sassi collection showcases the artistry of hand-blown glass, featuring a textured halftone base adorned with bold, vividly colored bands. Achieving the perfect harmony between vibrant hues and subtle transparency is key, ensuring the bands stand out while complementing the underlying form. The thoughtful selection of colors enhances depth and dimension, seamlessly integrating with the design’s overall fluidity and cohesion. Originally unveiled at the 1962 Venice Biennale, these iconic vases were reimagined in a second edition released in 1981.
