Our brooch collection takes inspiration from traditional hand fans of the Qing dynasty, which was a popular fashion accessory among the concubines of the imperial court; as well as from the 12 most iconic types of flowers, whose presence can be found in literature and paintings throughout history. This particular brooch made of gold and ruby, depicts the peach flower flourishing in the frame of a traditional hand fan.
