A copper artwork crafted by the artisans of Tazen, a Japanese copper workshop with over 400 years of history, is meticulously created by treating each copper plate with various surface finishing techniques. These plates are then uniquely arranged to present a gradient of colors, symbolizing "one day" in Sendai. Copper, as a material, changes its color over time, reflecting how each day in the passage of time is unique and different.
