A vase that will break the ice.The surprising shape of the Railo vase gives a spark to the conversation. Designer Tuuli Saarelainen was inspired by the cracks in the ice and the harsh contrasts of northern nature. The outcome is the Railo vase, whose regular geometric and carefully considered shape is crossed by an organic, imperfect seam, breaking the otherwise smooth surface. The glazing also reminds us of our untamed and unpredictable nature: a second layer of glaze splashed on top of the base glazing, makes each vase unique.
