The “Photo d’Artiste – Les Plaisirs Démodés” collection is a tribute to forgotten places through the lens of the artist Aude Joli Jour. "At the beginning everything started from this desire to bring together images of what inspires me on a daily basis and what I do with it in my work... Inspiration, I find it absolutely everywhere and all the time. I am an insatiable contemplative, I can feed on the course of the clouds in the sky, the chirping of birds, the scent of flowers in spring, the felted snow that falls in winter, the rain of a storm and the beauty of wet roofs, just a little inspires me. Above all, I am deeply moved by the effect of time on things; the poetry of the decaying walls, the mystery of an abandoned interior, the multitude of stories that all these places, that each object, that each of their cracks contain... I am in love with this suspended time and finally I recount in images my poetic wanderings, and I fix in my memory this creative journey. More Art photos
