Product description
Dress up a surface with intention, color, and beauty. The journey of each cloth starts from a tiny cotton seed. Thes fabric of this series, ‘kala cotton’ is handspun and handwoven from an indigenous organic variety of cotton plant that is native to the kutch region of India. Once woven the fabric is then printed with a traditional style of block printing called Ajrakh. Ajrakh uses hand carved wooden blocks to print natural dyes. The process of making an Ajrakh is a long one, involving around fifteen distinct steps. All fabrics are woven and printed by artisans in their native habitat. More Table linen
