Product description
The journey of each cushion cover starts from a tiny cotton seed. The fabric in this series, “kala cotton”, is spun and woven by hand from an indigenous organic variety of cotton that is native to the Kutch region of India. Once woven, the fabric is then printed using a traditional block printing style called Ajrakh. Ajrakh uses hand-carved wooden blocks to print natural dyes. The process of making an Ajrakh is long and involves fifteen distinct steps. Cover More Cushions
