Pereira, the pear tree, is illustrated here as a tribute to the agricultural traditions of western Portugal, where pears are still harvested by hand. Students and young people are lending a hand to producers during this intense period. Henriette Arcelin made it a soft and expressive image, inspired by ancient botanical illustrations.
