Hotaru, which means “firefly” in Japanese, is as much a wall decoration as it is a light fixture. By day, it highlights the delicacy of kumiko panels. At night, he celebrates its transparency.The frame of the light fixture is made of laminated and curved oak. The kumiko, made of maple, plays the card of simplicity with a decidedly vertical frame and a central frieze with an Asa-No-Ha pattern.
