Airlines filled office windows and desks with desktop models, finely cast in aluminum.Our Connie flying over a full-size globe or globe section is an exact replica of these early ones. Originals are rare and very expensive.Nicknamed ‘Connie’ our Constellation ruled the world of transatlantic travel for 10-15 years, then to be replaced by faster jet-engines.
