The concept of the Mudra Chairdraws inspiration from mudras,symbolic gestures used inBuddhist meditation and Hinduyoga, based on the intertwiningof fingers to establish ameaningful connection with thebody.The chair mimics this ideathrough a structure composedof interlaced solid wood slats,forming an ergonomic,anthropometric design. The entire piece is constructedfrom a single solid woodelement, Chilean lenga, anative hardwood from thesouthern forests of Patagonia.Through careful modulationand assembly, this singularelement defines the fullstructure of the chair.
