This object is created using a traditional Korean technique of layering fabric and paper to form a hollow structure, which is then coated with natural lacquer (Ottchil).In this piece, a heat-shrink film was used during the shaping process, allowing the outer layer to contract and create tension in the form. The result is a distinctive, organic silhouette that appears both controlled and spontaneous.The double-walled body adds depth and quiet presence, while the interplay of tension, material, and lacquer evokes a conversation between structure and softness, tradition and transformation.Product specifications
