MOMOS is a textile collection that originated from a trip through northern Brazil more than twenty years ago. During this time, the president of Gandia Blasco Group, José A. Gandía-Blasco Canales, was struck by a local textile craft in the state of Maranhão, whose structure resembled the geometry of butterfly eggs. Since then, that curious weave remained in his memory until, together with the embroidery skills of the artisans from the GAN Women Unit, he managed to reinterpret it and translate it into the design of a collection of rugs, poufs, and cushions.Product specifications
