Created as a luminous exploration of colour and material, Speculation in Blue embodies a sense of optimism and renewal through the hue of pure blue. This limited-edition light sculpture arises from Ango’s experimental process, where light, science, and craft converge and go on to result in a freeform entity with extraordinary luminosity. Evocative of an electro luminescent sea sponge, Speculation in Blue is created in a composition of natural mulberry fibre and crystallised copper sulphate, a corporeal / uncorporeal entity barely weighing 1 kg, where the folds and flows of differing intensity In the same collection
