Wavy bench

The thinking behind the design was that it should incorporate a wave and look rather airy and light.The bench was created for a hotel called Nemunas, named after Lithuania’s largest river. That connection to water naturally influenced the design. We wanted to capture the rhythm and softness of a flowing current, giving the bench an airy, fluid form through the middle.On each end, solid concrete blocks anchor the piece. They symbolize the robustness and power of the building itself — a grounded contrast to the fluid middle section of the piece.
