The Pétiole chair, from the eponymous collection, is inspired by the natural principle of the petiole: the thin rod that connects and connects the leaf to the branch. With this collection Alexandre Labruyère is developing a series of objects full of finesse and fluidity in oak from Hauts-de-France. This chair, created in 2022, refers to vegetable inspiration and explores the notions of lightness and balance. Particular attention is paid to the base, which is bent with steam in order to push the wood to the limits of its elasticity. The Pétiole chair received the FD100 French Design Prize.Product specifications
